Partners

Robert A Flynn BA, LLB, NP.
(Qualified 1978): Quick to recognise Bob’s potential, Gebbie & Wilson promoted him to partner shortly after completion of his apprenticeship with us in 1978. Involved in the full range of our Chamber work, Bob is also our expert on property values and has particular responsibility for our Estate Agency.

David C Murray LLB, MBA, NP.
(Qualified in 1981): After gaining four years’ post qualifying experience in firms in Motherwell and Edinburgh, David joined us in 1985 and has been a Partner since 1990. David practices in the areas of conveyancing, Private Client work and insolvency law.

Jacqueline A. Fox, LLB, DipLP, NP.
(Qualified in 1991): Jacqueline joined our firm in 1996 as our Court Specialist. Having completed her Traineeship in the insolvency and corporate departments of a major Glasgow firm, Jacqueline gained five years’ sharp end experience in the Sheriff Courts of Glasgow and Lanarkshire as the Court Solicitor for a firm smaller than but similar to our own. Jacqueline became a partner at Gebbie & Wilson in 1999. Since Jacqueline joined our firm the debt recovery department has grown from strength to strength to such an extent that we have the largest debt recovery department of any Solicitors' firm in Lanarkshire. 

Senior Associates

Angela McCredie, LLB (Hons), Dip LP, NP. 
(Qualified 1997): Angela joined the Court Department of Gebbie & Wilson in 1999. She completed her traineeship and post qualifying experience in the Court Department of a busy, large Glasgow firm. Angela deals with a wide range of court work ranging from Family Law to Commercial Litigation. She has now wide experience of all issues of debt recovery litigation including insolvency aspects.

Russell Paterson LLP, NP. 
(Qualified 1980): Russell joined Gebbie & Wilson in 2004, after twenty years in private legal practice in Glasgow, (culminating as Managing Partner of his firm) and four years as in-house Legal Adviser to a large Edinburgh-based company. Russell practices in the areas of conveyancing and private client work. He has a particular interest in commercial conveyancing and commercial leasing.
